A válvula de regulação independente da pressão é um dispositivo formado por um estabilizador automático de caudal e uma válvula de regulação servocomandada. A válvula está apta a regular e manter constante o caudal quando variam as condições de pressão diferencial do circuito onde é colocada. O caudal é regulado de duas formas diferentes: - manualmente no estabilizador automático de caudal, para limitar o valor máximo; - automaticamente, pela válvula de regulação combinada com um servocomando proporcional (0÷10 V) ou ON/OFF, consoante os requisitos de carga térmica da secção do circuito a controlar. A válvula de regulação independente da pressão (PICV) é fornecida com ligações para tomadas de pressão, a montante e a jusante, para a verificação das condições de funcionamento. O dispositivo pode ser utilizado em instalações de climatização
