EURAPO has designed a new range of hydronic cassette units thanks to the recent investments in the new technical laboratories. The new UCS600 series has been planned in accordance with quality standards that characterize the complete EURAPO production since years and it is distinguished by an increased capacity with a low noise level, by a further improvement in the quality of the components, by a new design of the air intake/air supply grilles that also improves air distribution. Power consumption is reduced by more than 50% in the EST version (EC motor compared to AC motor) and thanks to the new production process, UCS600 can deeply penetrate the market with competitive prices. Available in 6 models, the UCS600 overall dimensions allow an easy installation in modular false ceilings (600x600), while the hydraulic and electrical connections, located on the same side, facilitate the maintenance operations.

The unit in basic configuration is equipped with a condensate pump, and it is pre-arranged for the connection to an additional air outlet duct and/or to an external air intake. The air intake/outlet grilles are designed in order to avoid that people are directly invested by the air flow (thanks to the Coanda effect), by reaching the maximum levels of comfort. Among the wide range of accessories available for the UCS600 units it is possible to find the “4-Pipe Compact Kit”, a particular 3-way valve kit that permits to obtain a 4 pipe system from a single water coil, greatly increasing the capacity of the “heating coil”. The UCS600 cassette unit can be managed by the complete range of EURAPO regulators: from the standard electro-mechanical and microprocessor controls to the digital controls, compatible to BMS Systems.

The unit in basic configuration is equipped with a condensate pump, and it is pre-arranged for the connection to an additional air outlet duct and/or to an external air intake. MAIN STRUCTURE The structure is made of 10/10 mm thick galvanised steel completely insulated inside with 10 mm closed cell thermal insulation material. On three of the four sides there is a prearranged 150 mm diameter hole for the connection to an air supply duct. Furthermore there is one prearranged 100 mm diameter hole for the connection to an external air intake. The relevant collars for an easy connection to the air ducts are always supplied as standard. The air plenum has special slots on the sides in order to permit access to the external air: the fresh air coming through the slots will perfectly mix with the internal air and pass through the heat exchanger before blowing into the room. CONDENSATE PUMP The built-in condensate pump has a no-return valve on the outlet. The pump has a water discharge head of 850 mm from the bottom side of the cassette unit. WATER COILS The water coils are made of copper pipes and aluminium fins, bent for 360°. 3 rows heat exchangers are surface treated (hydrophilic aluminium). Max operating pressure: 16 bar. Min/max water temperature: 5/85 °C. ELECTRIC PANEL The electric box (ESTQEC00) is made of galvanized steel containing a 12 poles terminal board with screws terminals and the grounding terminal. The electric panel is located on the side of the unit, same side of the water connections. FAN DECK The fan deck, installed in a central position, is composed by a centrifugal fan motor and a plastic impeller. The single phase electric motor has a permanently connected capacitor and thermal protection of the windings. The single speed motor is connected to an autotransformer, to provide six available speeds, three of them factory wired as standard. The motor is suitable for 50/60Hz operation. Power supply: 230V ±6%. AIR FILTER The air filter consists of a black pre-varnished metal frame and a honeycomb polypropylene fibre filtering material, enclosed in two electro-welded galvanized steel nets (12x24 mm). The black coloured re-generable filter element is designed to reduce the pressure drop at minimum levels. AIR OUTLET GRILLES The air outlet plenum is made of heat-resistant ABS V0 Anti UV plastic material, white colour RAL9003. The air outlet distribution is on the 4 sides of the unit. On each side of the plenum there are plastic flaps to close one or two air outlet sides. AIR INTAKE GRILLES The air intake grill is made of heat-resistant ABS V0 Anti UV plastic material, white colour RAL9003. A dedicated internal insulation with closed cell insulating material excludes any risk of water condensation on the grilles.
